About Michael Marlowe of Columbus, Ohio

A native of Columbus, OH, Michael Marlowe has worked for more than two decades building a successful career as a business development specialist. Laying the foundation for his future work, he earned a bachelor of arts in economics from The Ohio State University. Subsequently, Michael Marlowe accepted a job as a certified financial manager with Merrill Lynch in Columbus, OH. In this capacity, he oversaw the investment portfolios of clients.

Mr. Marlowe joined Morgan Stanley as associate vice president in 1999. He garnered experience in business development through his work in new investment markets. His efforts helped the firm realize a $40 million increase in assets. He went on to co-found Bluemile (previously MJS Holdings), a cloud solutions provider. Under his dedicated leadership, the company twice achieved a spot on the Inc. 500 list of the Fastest Growing Companies. Since 2014, he has served as managing partner of M. Marlowe Consulting, where he provides financial assistance to all manner of business executives.

In addition to his professional pursuits, he serves as a member of the Hall of Fame Committee of Junior Achievement of Central Ohio and as a board member. As a participant in many of the organization’s activities, he will attend the annual Central Ohio Business Hall of Fame event at the Hilton Columbus at Easton in late November 2016. This year, new laureate inductees will include Columbus Partnership President and CEO Alex Fischer and the CEO of Nationwide Children's Hospital, Dr. Steve Allen.
